The sophistication of AI chatbots is continually on the increase. Insights from AI tools can also help to streamline the work of organisations and to improve efficiency. 

At the same time, the NHS reports that one in five children and young people in England had a ‘probable mental disorder’ in 2023. Are we at a point where AI tools should be used to cope with an ever-growing demand for support services – or is ‘efficiency’ simply a stand-in for ‘cheap’?

Youth advice and support service The Mix have previously integrated AI into their work, and their CEO Chris Martin joins Vicki to discuss the potential benefits (and possible concerns) of using AI innovations in the charity sector.
